As a form of vigilance, Bergas asked people living in disaster-prone areas to understand the characteristics of their areas, for example those living in mountains with landslides or lowlands with floods.
"Of course, people must be able to read, know the characteristics of disasters that they often experience at all times to be able to prepare for and what to do. Whether it's saving property, for example in flood areas," he said.
For those who live in mountainous areas or slopes prone to landslides, he appealed to stay away from dangerous points, for example by temporarily evacuating to relatives' homes.
"If there is heavy rain that lasts quite a long time, it is hoped that it will shift first. I don't know if it will go to his brother's house, or what, it will be more important," he said.
