KPK Aims For Other ASDP Internals In Corruption Cases Acquisition Of PT Jembatan Nusantara
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate other parties in the alleged corruption related to business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). Investigators continue to investigate the involvement of internal parties other than those that have been named as suspects.
Based on the information gathered, current investigators are looking for other ASDP officials who are suspected of participating in the responsibility. The KPK has named three internal parties, namely the President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Ira Puspadewi; Harry MAC as Director of Planning and Development; Yusuf Hadi who serves as Director of Commercial and Services as a suspect.
Then, the KPK also named Adjie as the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara as a suspect. Thus, there are a total of four suspects but the official announcement has not been made.
Regarding this information, KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika said investigators were still investigating. Further information cannot be conveyed.
"Other parties are being investigated that need to be held accountable for the law," said the spokesman with the investigator's background when confirmed, Friday, December 13.
While on a separate occasion, Tessa said the possibility of issuing an investigation warrant (sprindik) to develop this corruption case was open. "But here we are just waiting for an update from the leadership," she said in a press conference on Friday last week.
"If there are things that need to be held accountable to other parties, we will update again," continued Tessa.
Previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating cases of corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). It is suspected that there has been a state loss which allegedly reached Rp1.27 trillion and is still changing because the calculation continues.
A VOI source said this loss arose because the acquisition process for PT Jembatan Nusantara did not comply with the regulations. Reporting from a number of reports, PT ASDP purchased PT Jembatan Nusantara in February 2022 with a value of IDR 1.3 trillion.
This state-owned company then controlled 100 percent of PT Jembatan Nusantara shares with 53 ships under management. "The process (in carrying out business cooperation and acquisition, ed) has no legal basis," he said.
