Netflix Confirms Bridgerton Continues Until Season 4
JAKARTA - Streaming service Netflix announced the third and fourth seasons of the original series, Bridgerton.
Through their social media, Netflix shares the news in a Lady Whistledown-style letter format. Bridgerton will return with a third and fourth seasons. "This writer has to buy more ink", reads the announcement.
The news was broadcasted in the middle of the ongoing production of the second season. Cited from Deadline today, April 14, producer Shonda Rhimes felt Bridgeton's book series had the potential to grab the audience's attention.
"These two seasons show confidence in our artwork and I feel so grateful to have a collaborative and creative partner like Netflix".

The second season of Bridgerton will feature the search for a life partner for the Bridgerton family's eldest son, Anthony (played by Jonathan Bailey). Simone Ashley plays Kate Sharma, Bailey's co-star in the series.
In addition to the two, Bridgerton was also played by Charithra Chandran and Rupert Young. Despite some changes, the main story adapts Julia Quinn's book series of the same name in the section, The Viscount Who Loved Me.
The first part was a success where Netflix recorded 82 million viewers watching Bridgerton.
