Prabowo: Golkar Warehouses Great People, Most Of The Cadres In The Cabinet

President Prabowo Subianto called the Golkar Party a warehouse for great cadres who now fill the position in the Red and White Cabinet.

Prabowo said that currently Golkar is the party with the highest number of cadres who are trusted to occupy seats in the cabinet.

"I agree that Golkar is a warehouse for great people, many parties have given birth and in this cabinet, yes, this is indeed the party with the most cadres in the cabinet, Golkar," Prabowo said in his remarks at the Peak of the 60th Anniversary of the Golkar Party at Sentul International Convention Center, Bogor, West Java, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, December 12.

According to the President, the number of party cadres bearing the banyan tree symbol who are included in the cabinet is based on the quality of individuals proposed by the party.

The Head of State then mentioned the name Meutya Hafid, a Golkar politician who was appointed as Minister of Communication and Digital in the Red and White Cabinet. Meutya has a superior educational background and track record.

"Mrs. Meutya Hafid, I saw her history of graduating from a university majoring in physics, meaning she is smart," said the President.

The President emphasized that his decision to accept candidates from Golkar was based on an objective assessment of their competence and abilities.

"What great people put forward, how about it. I think that's where one of the keys to leadership is. What is offered must be the best person, that's where I finally receive candidates from the Golkar Party," said Prabowo.

The President also mentioned the dynamics that emerged within the party, including the existence of the camps. In fact, the existence of the camps within the party is considered a lesson.

"In each party there must be a camp, in Gerindra there are also camps, many camps, yes, right. There are many, there are usually no problems. So, my brothers and sisters feel comfortable Golkar with me. I feel comfortable with the parties of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition, "said the President.
