KAI Records Train Tickets For The Nataru Holiday Period Sold Out 968,121
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI recorded the number of fire tickets (KA) for the Christmas and New Year 2025 (Nataru) holiday period, namely 968,121 tickets from the total seating capacity provided by KAI as many as 3,572,588.
In detail, as many as 948,010 medium or long-distance train tickets were sold.
This figure is equivalent to 34.21 percent of the total number of seats available, namely 2,770,864 tickets.
Then, local trains as many as 20,111 tickets or 2.51 percent of the total number of seats provided, namely 801,724 tickets.
"The number of ticket sales will continue to change dynamically and increase, because sales are still ongoing," said KAI Vice President Public Relations Anne Purba in an official statement, Thursday, December 12.
Anne said, during the period of Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025 (Nataru) from 19 December 2024 to 5 January 2025 KAI Group provided a total of 44,754,280 seats.
Consisting of 3,572,588 KAI Passengers, 35,407,300 KAI Commuter Passengers, 4,142,520 Jabodebek LRT Passengers, 588,304 South Sumatra LRT Passengers, 7,416 KAI Wisata Passengers, 487,728 KAI Airport Passengers, 29,160 Makassar-Parepare Train Passengers and 519,264 KCIC Passengers, "he said.
Meanwhile, the total KAI Group trip during the Nataru period was 40,782 trains.
Details of 7,328 train trips managed by KAI, 23,204 train trips managed by KAI Commuter.
Then, 1,872 train trips managed by KAI Airport, 5,598 Jabodebek LRT trips, 1,772 South Sumatra LRT trips, 36 trips managed by KAI Wisata, 108 Makassar-Parepare train trips and 864 Luckish trips managed by KCIC.
Anne said, for medium and long-distance trains, booking tickets can be done by H-45.
Meanwhile, the local train orders can only be ordered H-30 before departure and there are also several trains that can only be ordered D-7 before departure.
"KAI hopes that people can immediately book tickets and plan a vacation carefully because the Nataru River train tickets are still quite widely available," said Anne.
