RK-Suswono And Dharma-Kun Not Sue The Results Of The Gubernatorial Election, Pramono: Thank You, Jakarta Can Immediately Improve

JAKARTA The elected candidate for governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung, expressed his appreciation to the pair Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (01) and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana (02) who did not file a lawsuit against the results of the 2024 Governor Election (Pilgub) to the Constitutional Court (MK).

"I personally thank the 01 and 02 couples who did not file a lawsuit to the Constitutional Court. That way, Jakarta can immediately focus on improving. The current condition does require immediate attention," said Pramono while reviewing the location of the fire in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Thursday, December 12.

Pramono emphasized that political stability is very important so that people are not affected by uncertainty. According to the former Cabinet Secretary, the gubernatorial election that runs without a prolonged dispute process is a positive step for Jakarta.

"If the political situation is not stable, there will definitely be an impact on the community. So, I really appreciate this step," he said.

Pramono also mentioned that political tension in Jakarta during the gubernatorial election was relatively conducive. He appreciated how the campaign, socialization, and voting took place peacefully.

"We should be grateful, a happy politics can be realized during the Pilgub stage. Even to vote calculations, there are no significant incidents. This shows that Jakarta can become a role model for democracy in Indonesia," he added.

It is known that the pair Ridwan Kamil-Suswono and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana did not file a dispute over the results of the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election to the Constitutional Court.

The deadline for filing the lawsuit is Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 23.59 WIB. Previously, the Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) determined the results of the gubernatorial election on Sunday, December 8.
