Temporary PM Al-Bashir Holds Cabinet Meeting Ensures Syrian Transition In 3 Months
JAKARTA - A government leader linked to Syrian rebels, Mohammad Al-Bashir, was appointed interim prime minister of the country for the next three months.
His government will oversee the Syrian transition to a new government.
Ministers from the Wildlife Government government related to Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), as well as civil servants from the Assad era, will continue to serve as ministers in the interim government until March 1, 2025.
A cabinet hearing has been held, including a working team from the Syrian Conservation Government operating in the Idlib region and its surroundings, as well as the Syrian government from the ousted regime. The focus of this session is on the transfer of institutions and management of ongoing affairs," Al-Bashir said in a speech.

Recently, Al-Bashir served as prime minister of the Innovation Government in Idlib. He previously served as Minister of Development and Humanity.
He is a trained engineer and has additional qualifications in English and Sharia law, according to his resummation, posted on the Giving Government website.
