Indonesia Wins 56 Medals At SEA Age Group Swimming Championships 2024

JAKARTA The Indonesian aquatic athlete contingent managed to secure 56 medals and sit in third place in the final standings of the 2024 SEA Age Group Swimming Championships.

The championship was held on December 6-8, 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. There are three sports (sports) that are competed, namely swimming, diving, and artistic swimming.

The swimming team contributed 48 medals in total. The details are 23 gold medals, eight silver medals, and 17 bronze medals.

One of Indonesia's success from this swimming was thanks to the brilliant performance of the 13-year-old beautiful swimmer, Adelia Chantika Aulia. He was recorded as having won eight gold medals.

The 17-year-old male swimmer Jason Donovan Yusuf also contributed greatly to the Red and White. He completed this event by securing three gold medals and one bronze medal.

On the other hand, the artistic swimming team contributed two silver medals and three bronze medals, as well as the diving team won one silver medal and two bronze medals.

This result makes Indonesia behind the host Thailand, which occupies the first position and Vietnam in second place in the final standings for medals.

Host Thailand recorded 43 gold, 50 silver, and 39 bronze. Vietnam, which trailed in second place, collected 27 gold, 25 silver, and 16 bronze.

Then Malaysia is right behind Indonesia with a record of seven gold. Following that was Singapore in fifth place with four gold, and the Philippines in sixth place with one gold.
