The RIDO Team Will Register The Jakarta Pilkada Lawsuit To The Constitutional Court Tomorrow

JAKARTA - Deputy Secretary of the Winning Team for Ridwan Kamil and Suswono (RIDO), Adhilusa, said that his party would register the Jakarta Pilkada lawsuit with the Constitutional Court (MK) tomorrow, Wednesday, December 11.

"The plan is tomorrow (to the Constitutional Court, ed)," said Adhinusa when confirmed, Tuesday, December 10.

Adhinusa said that today his party is still finalizing the preparation of evidence. He said the RIDO team would also include additional evidence.

"Today is the finalization of the lawsuit preparation and adding some evidence," he said.

Adhinusa added that the members of the legal team and their leaders would be delivered directly by the Head of the RIDO Winning Team, Ahmad Riza Patria.

"Later it will be announced by the Head of the Winning Team, just wait, be patient," he added

Previously, the legal team for the Candidates for Governor and Deputy Governor of Jakarta number 1 Ridwan Kamil-Suswono conducted consultations regarding the dispute over the results of the 2024 Pilkada to the Court of the Constitution.

"Alhamdulillah, earlier we consulted with the Constitutional Court regarding the term of time. Furthermore, we also consulted regarding (alat) evidence that we can prepare," said the representative of the RK-Suswono legal team, Faizal Hafied, Monday, December 9.

Faizal said the legal team for the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor named RIDO was currently compiling the application file and the preparation of the RIDO legal team had reached 97 percent.

However, he has not confirmed the schedule for the legal team to register an application with the Constitutional Court. The deadline for registration is three working days since the DKI Jakarta KPU sets the election results, which is no later than Wednesday, December 11.

"Preparation has reached 97 percent. So, we are just waiting for directions from the Head of the Success Team (Ahmad Riza Patria), when will we include this request and also finalize it for other preparations," he said.

The RIDO legal team will sue the results of the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada determined by the KPU. Meanwhile, candidate pair number 3 Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, as the winner of the regional election, will become the relevant party.

"These two parties are the parties who will be in the application," he said.
