Pramono Praises The Transparency Of The Jakarta KPU's Voice Recapitulation

JAKARTA - The candidate for governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung, praised the transparency of the vote recapitulation process by the DKI Jakarta KPU. Now, his party is just waiting for the final result

"The first is of course we understand, knowing that the transparency carried out by the Jakarta KPU has gone well," said Pramono in Jakarta, Sunday, December 8.

Pramono said the calculation of the Jakarta KPU with the results of the quick count that appeared after voting was not much different. "Then Sirekap and until yesterday's calculations showed no significant changes so the numbers were almost the same," he said.

"So that momentum like this needs to be maintained in the future so that the gubernatorial election in Jakarta can really be transparent, open, and anyone can get access easily and well," continued Pramono.

Pramono said that different views may also be conveyed by other parties. He conveyed this in response to the legal team's steps for the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor number 1, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono, to report the Jakarta KPU to the DKPP.

However, the former Cabinet Secretary of the era of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) advised that there should be no turmoil in processing the final results. This is because Pramono wants the Jakarta gubernatorial election to be a role model for other regions.

"If there are still different views, please. Because this is a democratic country and I certainly give respect and appreciation whatever is done to clarify the process of selecting the governor of Jakarta," he said.

"Because for me personally the election for the governor of Jakarta is certainly expected to be a role model for other regions because it is carried out cheerfully, transparently, openly and this is the first time the election for governor in Jakarta has not been too high," concluded Pramono.
