Strengthen Evidence Of Alleged Corruption Acquisition Of PT Jembatan Nusantara, KPK Seizes ASDP VP Goods

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confiscated goods belonging to the Vice President of Accounting for PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Evi Dwijayanti who was questioned on Thursday, December 5. This effort is to strengthen evidence of alleged corruption by the state-owned company during the business cooperation (KSU) process and acquire PT Jembatan Nusantara.

"The laptops and cellphones were confiscated," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters in a statement quoted on Sunday, December 8.

Tessa has not detailed the findings obtained by investigators. However, the evidence is confirmed to be related to the case being handled.

As for this case, there have been four suspects who have been named but have not been officially announced by the anti-corruption commission. They are the President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Ira Puspadewi; Harry MAC as the planning and development director; Yusuf Hadi who is the director of commercial and service; and Adjie who is the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara.

Previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating cases of corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). It is suspected that there has been a state loss which allegedly reached Rp1.27 trillion and is still changing because the calculation continues.

A VOI source said this loss arose because the acquisition process for PT Jembatan Nusantara did not comply with the regulations. Reporting from a number of reports, PT ASDP purchased PT Jembatan Nusantara in February 2022 with a value of IDR 1.3 trillion.

This state-owned company then controlled 100 percent of PT Jembatan Nusantara shares with 53 ships under management. "The process (in carrying out business cooperation and acquisition, ed) has no legal basis," he said.

"So all acquisition rules are violated," is still quoted from the same source.

In this case, the anti-corruption commission has confiscated 15 land and building assets from the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara, Adjie. The value reaches hundreds of billions of rupiah and is in the Pondok Indah, Menteng, Bogor City, and Surabaya City areas.
