Noisy With Supporters, Tottenham Coach Not Interested In Support For 12th Players
Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou said he was not interested in who supported him after fighting with a group of supporters after Bournemouth's 0-1 defeat on Friday, December 6, 2024, early morning WIB.
Ejekan was heard from Spurs supporters as Postecoglou approached them to applaud after the defeat. The Spurs manager then got into an argument with several people.
"They don't support me, they support the club. I'm not interested in who supports me."
"Last night you had to know that fans who came to Bournemouth were quite tough supporters."
"They are not happy with what they see. They feel the need to provide input. I received that input and we went on."
"There wasn't much time to reflect, we came back at 2 am. It was a disappointing night and we had a lot of work to do," Postecoglou told a news conference.

Meanwhile, Postecoglou also discussed the inconsistent performance of its team. Tottenham have lost six of their 14 league games this season and are in 10th place in the standings, behind Bournemouth.
"For me, the disappointment last night, there was a repeat of our cycle entering the game. Starting quite well, but then letting the opponent master it by breaking a careless goal."
"We did that last night, or we didn't take the opportunity well. We need to break that cycle, regardless of where we are today."
"We know we really lack players in terms of the number of players. We know there aren't many opportunities to rotate and rest players," said the Australian coach.
Tottenham Hotspur have never won in the last three matches in all competitions (two draws and one defeat).
Their revival seems to be difficult as they have to face London rivals Chelsea on Sunday, December 8, 2024.
The Blues did not appear to shine earlier this season with new coach Enzo Maresca. They are in second place in the Premier League standings.
