Officially Divorced, Venna Melinda Immediately Remove Ferry Irawan's Name From Family Card
JAKARTA - Venna Melinda was seen attending the South Jakarta Religious Court to take a copy of the divorce decision which was decided by the panel of judges some time ago.
With this copy taken, Venna Melinda's attorney, Sandy Arifin, said that his client had officially divorced from Ferry Irawan.
"Yes, the decision has been officially taken, I don't want to open this decision but what is certain is that it is official, so hopefully in the future, Ms. Venna will be more successful," said Sandy Arifin at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Friday, December 6.
Responding to his new status Venna Melinda is very happy because he feels that this official moment of divorce has been awaited for a long time.
"Alhamdulillah, really today is today the day we have been waiting for. Yes, I'm very happy. At the end of the year I want to spend time with the children. That's what I can't wait for," said Venna Melinda.
In addition, Venna said that she felt relieved that she could remove Ferry Irawan's name from his family card and determine his marriage status on his ID card.
"Just relax because actually this is legal certainty, I can also change family cards, change ID cards. All administrations are good," explained Venna Melinda.

Previously, Venna Melinda and Ferry Irawan were finally decided to have officially divorced by a panel of judges at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Monday, December 2.
"That the Venna Melinda case with Ferry has been granted with verstek. Because at the first trial and the two defendants, namely Ferry, never came even though he had been officially summoned and properly, his summons was valid, his summons were officially appropriate for both," said Suryana at his office, Monday, December 2.
