Dipha Barus Will Show Her Self As An Indonesian At DWP24

JAKARTA - Dipha Barus is preparing to enliven the 2024 Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP24) which will last for three days at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta on December 13-15.

Disjoki, the 38-year-old songwriter and music producer will perform on the first day, alongside other line-ups, such as Zedd, W&W, Beauz, DUBVISION, Gryffin, Maddix, VENOM, and many more.

Although it has become a mandatory 'line up' at the DWP, Dipha said his appearance this year will be different. He will bring many of his latest works.

"There are many new songs, because I have just returned to this industry, after two years I have built my foundation, and I am back this year," said Dipha Barus during a press conference in Gunawarman, South Jakarta, Thursday, December 5.

"Dam was before this DWP, I specifically released new songs," he continued.

Dipha has also prepared something unique, by combining elements of Karo's traditional music in his appearance later.

"Yes, I'm working on songs from Tanah Karo, later performed on DWP. And there will be many new songs that I have saved," he said.

"Visuals will also be new, very Indonesian, because I am an Indonesian," he added.

Despite displaying something different, Dipha believes his appearance will entertain and provide a new experience for electronic dance music (EDM) lovers.

"To bring pop music on the EDM stage is my favorite," he concluded.
