Full of Emotion, Melitha Sidabutar's Mother Represents Her Daughter in Winning the AMI Awards Trophy
JAKARTA - The late Melitha Sidabutar won the 27th AMI Awards for the Best Christian Spiritual Lyric Song Production Work category, through the last single released before she died, "A Helper in Disruption".
The mother, Elitha Purnama Martaida Siahaan, became the recipient of the trophy when Melitha was announced victorious.
Elitha also thanked the award given to her late son.
Between proud and sad, yes people can judge everything. Thank you. Even though my son is already in heaven, there are still many who love Melitha Sidabutar. Let the Lord Jesus repay all," said the mother, met after the event at Ciputra Artpreneur, South Jakarta on Wednesday, December 4.
For him, this victory indicates that there are still many people who remember Melitha and her works.
He even said he received messages from many people who were still listening to his children's works.

The mother also talked about how Melitha, after winning her first win at the AMI Awards last year, believed she would bring home the trophy again this year.
"This is Melitha's dream. Last year she said that in 2024 she would definitely get the AMI Awards again. This is her dream, and I believe Melitha sees this from heaven, she knows she won," she said.
