Convinced Of Being Cheated On, Baim Wong Is Hard To Divorce With Paula Verhoeven
JAKARTA - Baim Wong through his attorney, Fahmi Bachmid emphasized that he insisted on separating from his wife, Paula Verhoeven, especially after mediation was declared a failure.
"Currently, I once again say that the person who filed for divorce was Muhammad Ibrahim. So it is impossible for him to want to do what he has been peacefully rejected, wants peace, wants to reconcile. It is impossible," said Fahmi at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Wednesday, December 4.
Fahmi said, regarding the desire to withdraw the lawsuit or not, he returned to Baim Wong because he filed for divorce.
"So if Baim wants to reconcile, just withdraw the lawsuit, it's over. So that there is no sentence that Baim wants to reconcile because the lawsuit like that is Baim. This means that whenever Baim can withdraw the lawsuit before the verdict," said Fahmi Bachmid.
He also revealed that at the time of mediation, Baim and Paula did not reach an agreement regarding the custody of their two children, not about divorce.
"In peace there is no agreement but not an agreement regarding divorce but an agreement against children," said Fahmi.

Baim himself admitted that he wanted this divorce to be completed properly by the agreement with Paula's side as well.
"Yes, it (it will be finished soon) and I want it to be finished well. From the start we wanted to finish it well. Remember that all of this has peace and has been approved by Paula, so when we spoke there was (a word of divorce) but the material (divide) was not agreed," said Baim Wong.
