Maudy Ayunda Presents A Different Fourth Studio Album From The Previous
JAKARTA - Maudy Ayunda is back in music by introducing her fourth studio album titled One Day. The album was presented six years after the third studio album, Oxygen, which was released in 2018.
One Day marks a new chapter in Maudy's musical journey, featuring herself as a figure who tells stories through music.
Maudy said the album this time was different from the one previously known. He wrote nine out of ten songs presented. While the rest was written by Dee Lestari.
"The most important thing on this album is my own role in writing songs," Maudy said during a hearing session with media crews in Thamrin, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, December 3.
"In the previous album, there were more collaborators. If this could be said I was very involved, there were even some songs that I wrote alone," he continued.
Meanwhile, one song was specifically handed over to Dee Lestari. This is Maudy's way of paying tribute to the songwriter who has been nominated for the AMI Awards five times.
"On nine songs, I wrote along. But there is one song that I didn't write, One Step on the tenth track, that's what wrote Dee Lestari," said Maudy.

Maudy also involved two other names who played a big role as songwriters and producers, namely Lafa Pratomo and Mikha Angelo.
He wrote many songs and they haven't finished yet, then taken to the studio and completed together.
"There is a song that writes its own at home, using a guitar only. But there are songs that we work on together in the studio," he concluded.
