Morowali KPU Office Burns, Central Sulawesi Police Investigate Cause Of Fire
SULTENG - The Central Sulawesi Regional Police (Polda) confirmed the burning of the Morowali General Election Commission (KPU) office building on Tuesday, December 3.
"It is true that a fire occurred at the Morowali KPU Office on Tuesday, November 3, 2024 at around 11.45 WITA," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Police, Kombes Pol. Djoko Wienartono was contacted in Palu, Tuesday, December 3, confiscated by Antara.
He said the fire that spread was extinguished at around 12.05 WITA. Meanwhile, he said, the logistics for the 2024 Pilkada were successfully secured.

Based on videos circulating on social media, the flames quickly spread to the roof of the building.
A number of officers were seen swiftly moving the logistics of the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) ballot box which was already in the Morowali KPU warehouse to the front yard.
