JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is still investigating the gift that occurred which led to a hand arrest operation (OTT) in Pekanbaru, Riau on Monday, December 2. Investigations are still being carried out on the parties who are being secured.
"The alleged corruption is still being investigated," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika in a written statement to reporters, Tuesday, December 3.
Information obtained were eight people who were arrested in the silent operation. The team in the field also found money and the amount was still counted.
As previously reported, the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufron, said that a state administrator was caught in a sting operation (OTT). The inspection was then carried out immediately.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of the KPK Johanis Tanak said the Acting Mayor of Pekanbaru, Risnandar Mahhiwa, was also caught in the silent operation. However, he admitted that he had not received the full report.
