Domestic Violence Becomes The Basic Lawsuit For Divorce Venna Melinda At Ferry Irawan Is Granted

JAKARTA - Public Relations of the South Jakarta Religious Court (PA), Suryana said regarding the basis of the lawsuit filed by Venna Melinda in filing for divorce from Ferry Irawan. Suryana said that Domestic Violence (KDRT) was the basis for Venna's divorce. "Because the main reason being seen from the lawsuit is from domestic violence. And there has been a court decision," said Suryana in her office, Monday, December 2. Furthermore, there is no defense from Ferry Irawan regarding this, it makes the panel of judges grant Venna's divorce suit. "Yes, that is the basis for submission. So when examined by the panel of judges, his party did not attend the evidence presented," he continued. "So the argument presented by the plaintiff is proven to be true. And indeed, the decision of the inkracht court is authentic, right, authentic evidence," said Suryana.

Previously, the Venna Melinda and Ferry Irawan pair were finally decided to have officially divorced verstek by the panel of judges at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Monday, December 2. "That the Venna Melinda case with Ferry has been approved with verstek. Because at the first trial and the two defendants, Ferry, never came even though he had been officially summoned and properly, his summons were valid, his official summons should be both," said Suryana at his office, Monday, December 2.
