Wind Rain In Jakarta, 11 Fallen Trees To Overhaul Vehicles

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded that 11 trees fell in Jakarta after heavy rains accompanied by strong winds this afternoon.

"The number of incidents of 6 trees fell in Central Jakarta, 2 fallen trees and 1 splinter in North Jakarta, 1 tree in West Jakarta, and 1 tree in South Jakarta," said Head of BPBD DKI Jakarta Isnawa Adji to reporters, Monday, December 2.

The fallen trees this afternoon were at a number of points, including Jalan Pasar Senen, Senen District; Pasar Baru Street, Sawah Besar District; Central Salemba, Senen District.

The same incident also occurred on Jalan Kramat Pulo, Senen District; Cempaka Putih Tengah 2, Cempaka Putih District; Senen Station Street, Senen District; Flamboyan Street, Pademangan District

Then, Jalan Danau Sunter Utara, Tanjung Priok District; Jalan FBR motik, Tanjung Priok District; Jalan Boulevard Raya, Cengkareng District; and Jalan Menteng Pulo 2, Tebet District.

The fallen tree hit a motorized vehicle, namely 2 cars and 2 motorbikes. There were no casualties from the incident.

"The fallen tree incident was handled by the TRC BPBD, Damkar, Parks Sub-Department, Satpol PP, PLN, and PPSU kelurahan," explained Isnawa.
