Prabowo Supports Aircraft Tickets Down 10 Percent, By Paying Attention To Industrial Health
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto asked his ministers to maintain the condition of the aviation industry after the policy of reducing aircraft ticket prices by the end of the year holiday was implemented.
Prabowo said the policy of reducing costs for flight transportation at the end of the year was the right policy, but industrial health still needed to be considered.
"Usually towards the end of the year or holidays, prices go up. We can lower plane tickets to help the community and our people. But we are also vigilant so that the decrease in airplane tickets also does not harm the aviation industry," said President Prabowo at the Plenary Cabinet Session in the Cabinet Session Room, Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Monday 2 December, confiscated by Antara.

The President also advised the leaders in the Red and White Cabinet to strengthen collaboration to prepare well for security and all activities related to the year-end moments filled with Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025.
Several ministers were asked to improve coordination to welcome the momentum of Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025 were Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi, Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto.
"Preparations for the end of the year, Christmas and New Year's 2025 holidays, please prepare them as well as possible. Once again across ministries, cross-institutions work," said Prabowo.
The Head of State advised that cross-ministerial and institutional work is needed so that this momentum can be used to improve the national economy and also maintain public trust that the situation and conditions can run well.
"We ensure that people can face the New Year safely, in an orderly manner, and smoothly. This is also our benefit, our momentum to improve our economy," said the President.
