Elementary School Sports Teacher At OKU South Sumatra Suspected Of Sexual Harassment Of Dozens Of Students
SOUTH SUMATRA - A sports teacher is suspected of sexually harassing dozens of students from elementary school (SD) students at Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) in South Sumatra (Sumsel).
The Head of the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the OKU Police, Ipda Indra Syahputra, said that this case was reported by dozens of parents of an elementary school in OKU who were victims of sexual harassment.
"Today we received a report of sexual harassment allegedly committed by an unscrupulous teacher of an elementary school (SD) in OKU Regency," he said in Baturaja, Monday, December 2, which was confiscated by Antara.
The case was revealed, he said after one of the student's parents, Arif received a report from his son because he was harassed by the perpetrator by attaching his genitals to the victim's body.
"There are many victims. What is clear is that there are more than 11 students," he said.
The depraved teacher took action during sports lessons by forcing students to enter the school bathroom.
"This case is under investigation. For the results, we will convey it to media colleagues," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of SD Negeri 49 OKU, Suwandi separately said that his party had reported this case to the OKU Education Office and submitted a written application so that the perpetrators were immediately transferred from the school.
"We have submitted a written application to the Education Office so that the perpetrators are transferred. This incident is very disturbing," said Suwandi.
Suwandi also confirmed that a similar case occurred two years ago which was carried out by the perpetrators, but was resolved amicably through school mediation.
"In the past, it was resolved amicably, but now the situation is different. We want the perpetrators to be dealt with firmly," he said.
