Green Day Changes Song Lyrics To Express Support For Palestine
JAKARTA - Green Day's recent appearance in Mexico City has become a topic of conversation on social media. Billie Joe Armstrong (guitar, vocals), Mike Dirt (bass), and Tré Cool (drums) returned to Mexico for the first time in seven years.
Meanwhile, part of the performance went viral on social media, when Green Day performed Jesus of Suburbia, a single from the 2004 album American night.
In a fan video uploaded on TikTok, Armstrong turns one of the song's verse into full support for Palestine.

Green Day's stage action did not stop there, Armstrong also saved a woman who seemed to have difficulty breathing in the crowd.

The 52-year-old frontman asked for help from many people to pull the woman out of the crowd. He also took the woman to the stage and hugged her.
Praise for what Green Day did in Mexico also flowed from netizens.
