Newly Sold In Indonesia, Hyundai Takes A Five Star Collision Test From Bharat NCAP

JAKARTA - Good news comes from the Hyundai manufacturer through the status model. The reason is, the SUV got the results of five stars in the hit and safety test conducted by the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (NCAP).

It was also reportedly the first Hyundai model to be hit by the safety agency and join a number of SUVs from competing manufacturers such as Mahindra and Tata in India.

Launching from Autocar India, Monday, December 2, the model tested is India's assembled for the domestic market. The car tested is an AT Signature variant of 2.0 liter gasoline or top specifications with standard equipment such as six airbags, three-point seat belts with a reminder of all passengers, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and ISOFIX for children in the back seat.

Then, the model also has other standard equipment such as Hill Hold Control, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Rearview Camera with front and rear sensors, and Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) level 2.

In the test,men got a score of 30.84 out of 32 in the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) category. The report noted that the protection provided on the driver's head and neck and the passenger's neck was good, followed by protection on the driver's chest and feet.

The medium-dimensional SUV also obtained a value of 14.84 out of 16 in the frontal offset deformation barrier test. Meanwhile, side deformation barrier testing got a value of 16 out of 16.

Thus, Hyundaimen offered overall good protection. Furthermore, in the side post hit test, the car got the title 'OK' and complied with the ESC test requirements.

In Child Occupant Protection,tipel got a score of 41 out of 49 points by getting full points on the dynamic test (24/24) and CRS installation test (12/12) and 5 out of 13 on vehicle assessment tests.

Both a 18-month-old child and a 3-year-old child were tested in a child seat facing back that was placed in the front passenger seat, secured with ISOFIX confinement and buffer legs.

Recently, Hyundaikku has been officially sold to the Indonesian market by attending in two variants, namely ICE and HEV. Hyundai Motor Indonesia sells from IDR 632 million for ICE type and IDR 743 million for HEV.
