Supercar Pagani Utopia Faces Problems, What Causes It?
JAKARTA - Shocking news came from the supercar brand Pagani. Recently, this Italian manufacturer announced a recall involving the Utopia model on the United States (US) market.
Launching from Carscoops, Monday, December 2, this is because it has problems with its dashboard which can affect the airbag performance of passengers.
The manufacturer founded by Horacia Pagani revealed that certain areas of carbon fiber prints used for dashboards have rough finishing. If an airbag expands, this section has the potential to damage the airbag and have an impact on its performance, thereby increasing the risk of injury in the event of an accident.
Although the problems they have appear small, the slightest defect can have serious consequences for the supercar.

So far in Uncle Sam's country, as many as 8 units of Pagani Utopia have been sent to customers produced from January 30, 2024 to November 19, 2024.
Pagani learned of the problem for the first time on November 18 when testing the validation of the dashboard with a new skin surface. To solve this problem, one of the efforts made is to use the latest carbon fiber prints and will improve all the supercars that are being produced and have been sent to customers.
In addition, the manufacturer will implementlow strips on all edges of carbon fiber panels to avoid damage from any contacts and airbags.
Customers or dealers will be notified of the recall on December 9 and December 23, 2024. The dealer will arrange to retrieve the affected vehicle and make repairs if necessary.
Utopia was first introduced to the US market earlier this year at prices ranging from 2.19 million US dollars (Rp36.6 billion) and only 99 units available.
