Next Year, The Land Bank Agency Sets A Target To Control 175,000 Land Ha
Head of the Land Bank Agency (BBT) Parman Natamatmadja said his party was ready to provide land for the success of the 3 million house program per year.
To be able to run the program, of course, land is needed for the construction of houses. Currently, the number of land controlled by BBT is still very limited.
As of October 2024, BBT has only controlled 27,169 hectares (Ha) of land spread across various regions of Indonesia.
Parman targets that this number will increase to 35,000 Ha by the end of 2024.
The land control reaches 140,000 hectares throughout 2025. If it is added to the land that has been controlled to date, the total is projected to reach 175,000 Ha next year," Parman told reporters, Friday, November 30.
From the distribution of land that has been controlled by BBT, there are several areas suitable for housing and settlements.
The details, the Asahan and Tanjung Balai areas are around 40 hectares (Ha), 18 Ha Purwakarta, 0.5 Ha Batang, 1.05 Ha Brebes, Kendal 4.26 Ha, and Penajam Paser Utara (PPU) around 164.67 Ha.
Purwakarta ada 95 Ha, karena ini untuk industri, sekitar 18 Ha atau 20 persen dari 95 Ha bisa digunakan untuk masyarakat penghasiburan rendah (MBR), kata Parman.
Please note, the Land Bank Agency (BBT) has the task of providing land to support 1 million decent housing programs in urban areas and 2 million in rural areas.

Parman said that land controlled by Bank Tanah is scattered in several areas, but not in urban areas.
Therefore, if you want to use it for the 3 houses program, the housing built is in the form of a landed house.
However, said Parman, it is possible that abandoned lands in urban areas can also enter the control of BBT in the future.
"It doesn't seem like a vertical house there because it's not in the city. In a new city, it's vertical because it's quite crowded, right," he said.
