Central Java Police Ensure Transparency In Handling The Case Of Police Shooting Semarang Vocational High School Students

JAKARTA - The Central Java Police confirmed that the handling of the shooting police case for SMKN 4 Semarang students was transparent.

Director of the General Criminal Investigation of the Central Java Police, Kombes Pol. Dwi Subagio said, according to the direction of the Central Java Police Chief, Inspector General of Police Ribut Hari Wibowo, that law enforcement is the main priority.

"The case related to the shooting case in Semarang, he stated that we must be transparent. If it is an act that is wrong, he must be responsible," he said on the sidelines of the exhumation process of the grave of the alleged victim of the shooting of GRO (17) at the Bangunrejo TPU, Saradan Village, Karangmalang District, Sragen Regency, Central Java, Friday, November 29, was confiscated by Antara.

Regarding the exhumation, he said, it was part of a transparent handling process.

"In principle, we are transparent and the process continues," he said.

On the same occasion, the Head of the Central Java Police, Kombes Pol. Agustinus, said that the results of the exhumation process would soon be submitted to investigators.

"The results of the exhumation are sought to be submitted to investigators tomorrow," he said.

Asked about the alleged victim's family that the bullet was still lodged in the victim's body, he admitted that he could not provide clarity.

"Tomorrow we will hand over the results to investigators, because I have also not received a report on the results of the forensic doctors involved," he said.

Meanwhile, during the process, his party involved one major forensic doctor and a collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine from a number of universities.

"We are collaborating with Undip Semarang, UNS Surakarta, and Umendula Semarang," he said.

He said the exhumation process lasted about 2-3 hours.

"Yang lama membihi, kalau fokusnya kan jelas, autopsy itu kan mencari penyebab kematian," katanya.

Regarding the condition of the body that was buried for almost a week, he said there were no significant difficulties.
