National Police Chief Inaugurates Two Generals To Be Central Papua And Southwest Papua Police Chiefs

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inaugurated several of his staff who were transferred to new positions. Two of them are Brigadier General Alfred Papare and Brigadier General Gatot Haribowo who are now assigned as Regional Police Chiefs (Kapolda) of Central Papua and Southwest Papua.

"The National Police Chief inaugurated the Central Papua Police Chief and the Southwest Papua Police Chief," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, to reporters, Friday, November 29.

In addition to the two regional police chiefs, Sigit also led the handover ceremony for the positions of South Kalimantan Police Chief, Sahlisosbud, National Police Chief, and National Police Headquarters.

They, Inspector General Winarto, who previously served as South Kalimantan Police Chief, are now officially assigned to the State Intelligence Agency.

Inspector General Rosyanto Yudha Hermawan, who previously served as Deputy Chief of Police of South Kalimantan, is now trusted as Kapolda.

Inspector General Iswyoto Agoeng Lesmana Doeta, who previously served as Head of the National Police, is now Sahlisosbud, the National Police Chief.

Brigadier General FX Surya Kumara with the old position of Sespuslitbang, is now the Head of the National Police.

"The handover of the position of Kapolda and the Raport Corps has been promoted to the rank of high-ranking police officers," said Trunoyudo.

In this series of activities, the National Police Chief also led the promotion of 26 Pati Polri consisting of two Inspector Generals to Komjen, eight Brigadiers to Inspector General and 16 Kombes to Brigadier General.
