JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) has begun to carry out vote calculations at the sub-district level by the District Election Committee (PPK) on Thursday, November 28.
"The recapitulation of vote calculations will be carried out in stages, starting from the recapitulation of sub-district, city/district and province levels, namely Thursday to December 16, 2024," said Chairman of the DKI Jakarta KPU Wahyu Dinata in Jakarta, Thursday, November 28, quoted by Antara.
The recapitulation process is carried out openly and can be followed or witnessed by witnesses, candidate pairs, or the public as a form of accountability and transparency over recapitulation.
"We will provide YouTube at the sub-district level. Hopefully, the public can witness the recapitulation process that we will carry out at the sub-district level," said Wahyu.
In the recapitulation process, the DKI KPU utilizes information system technology recapitulation (Sirekap) as a means of recapitulation and publication, in order to increase public accountability for the implementation of elections.
