Bentrokan Pendukung Paslon Pilkada Puncak Jaya, Kadinkes: 113 Korban Dirawat Di RS
CENTRAL PAPUA - The Central Papua Province Health Office (Dinkes) said that health service activities in Puncak Jaya Regency began to return to normal after clashes between supporters of the candidate pairs in the 2024 Pilkada on Wednesday, November 27.
Head of the Central Papua Health Service (Kadinkes) Silwanus Simule said, after the clash between masses, all basic health services at Mulia Hospital were normal.
"And from the incident there were 113 victims and now they are being treated," he said in Jayapura, Thursday, November 28, which was confiscated by Antara.
He said of the 113 victims, 21 patients were referred for treatment outside the local area.
"The 21 patients were scattered at Dian Harapan Hospital, then three patients at Abepura Hospital, one Jayapura Hospital, and seven patients at Timika Hospital," he said.

He explained that the 21 patients were referred because of conditions that required the victims to receive proper treatment, especially since there were several considerations ranging from aspects of health facilities and human resources (HR).
"Moreover, we ourselves have a Healthy Special Autonomy Card program, so it is easier to handle these patients because of cooperation with hospitals in Papua," he said.
In other patients, he said, some were treated at Mulia Hospital. Therefore, his party continues to monitor related to health services at a number of hospitals.
Previously, two groups of supporters who attacked each other using arrows and machetes at the front of the Puncak Jaya KPU Office, Central Papua, Wednesday, November 27.
