Support Pro Crypto Candidate, Ripple Donates IDR 395 Billion For PAC Fairshake

JAKARTA - Ripple (XRP) strengthened its position in the political scene of the United States by donating US$25 million (Rp395 billion) to the Fairshake group, the Political Action Committee (PAC) which focuses on pro-crypto policies. This donation brings Fairshake's total funds for the 2026 Congress to reach 103 million US dollars (Rp1.63 trillion).

Fairshake is an independent committee that supports pro-crypto political candidates. Fairshake is officially registered with the US Federal General Elections Commission. The group has shown a major influence in the 2024 elections, where PAC managed to raise more than $200 million and make a big contribution to the victory of candidates supporting crypto-friendly policies.

Based on data from OpenSecrets, more than 90% of the 22 candidates who received donations of more than $1 million from Fairshake managed to win seats at the congress.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse revealed that supporting pro-crypto candidates and those supporting innovation are strategic steps to maintain positive momentum for the digital asset industry.

"To continue this momentum, Ripple gave an additional 25 million US dollars to Fairshake," Garlinghouse said. He also sees Fairshake as the most successful bipartisan PAC in US history.

This donation is the third time from Ripple after previously donating similar funds last June, in preparation for the 2026 Congressional elections. Ripple also joined two other main supporters, namely Coinbase which contributed US$25 million (Rp395 billion) and Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) who donated funds worth US$23 million (Rp363 billion).

With total funds reaching 103 million US dollars, Fairshake is increasingly ready to play its important role in the upcoming congressional elections, including supporting candidates in favor of crypto-friendly innovations and policies.
