Barry Keoghan Stars In The Beatles' Biopic, Ringo Starr: Don't Les Drum Too Much

JAKARTA - Sony Pictures is reportedly working on the biopic film The Beatles, which will focus on its four main characters. Barry Keoghan, who was initially rumored to be playing Ringo Starr, was confirmed by the original character.

Ringo Starr recently confirmed Barry Keoghan will play his character in the film. This film will be directed by Sam Mendes.

"I think it's cool," said Ringo Starr.

When asked what advice he would give to Keoghan, Starr asked Keoghan not to train too many drums.

"I'm sure somewhere he's taking drum training classes, and I hope not too much," he said.

"When playing drums) you have to let that feeling touch you yourself. I once made a MasterClass and we talked about 'I didn't ask you to play like me, but you guys have to have moves that show you can play drums' Starr explained.

The Beatles biopic is divided into four films consisting of each of the bands' stories, namely Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and the late John Lennon and George Harrison.

The families of the four members gave permission for the right to music and their entire story was adapted to the script for the film. Now, rumors about the cast of The Beatles are starting to circulate.

Harris Dickinson reportedly played the late John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr. Neither the production house nor the actor have confirmed this news.

Barry Keoghan himself managed to steal the show through his acting over the past few years ranging from The Batman, Saltburn, Theploys of Inisherin, and Bird.
