Nyoblos In Bogor, Suswono: All Indonesians Have The Right To Be Nominated Everywhere
BOGOR - Candidate for Deputy Governor of Jakarta number 01 Suswono uses his voting rights to TPS 07 at Tirta Mas Residence, Bogor, West Java. Suswono arrived at TPS 07 Kedung Waringin with his wife.
After walking from his private residence 500 meters away, he immediately registered and waited for his turn at the ballot booth.
After spending less than 5 minutes, Suswono was legally cast in his voice in the Bogor Pilkada and West Java Pilkada, marked by sprinkling his fingers into a blue ink.
Suswono admitted that he was grateful to fulfill his rights as an Indonesian citizen, especially Bogor, West Java.
He received two ballot papers to select the candidate pair for mayor and deputy mayor of Bogor and the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor of West Java.
"Alhamdulillah, today I have used my rights as a citizen, as a resident of the city of Bogor who is also the province of West Java. Because this is the Simultaneous Regional Head Election, so I got two cards earlier. So indeed I am a resident of Jakarta and also Bogor," said Suswono at TPS 07 Kedung Waringin, Bogor, Wednesday, November 27.
Suswono emphasized that although he was nominated as deputy governor of Jakarta, he did not leave his right to vote in Bogor, according to his identity card.
"I am certainly a resident in Jakarta in 1984. Then because I became a lecturer in Bogor I moved to Bogor. Then when I was a member of the DPR and a minister for 10 years, practically I was also a resident of Jakarta. After not becoming a minister, I then returned to the city of Bogor," he said.

"But it must be a day, practically more in Jakarta because in Bogor it's just to stay still, just sleep at night. So practically my daily activities are in Jakarta. Of course, because the regulation where the domicile place is then gets voting rights, of course, I mean getting voting rights in Bogor City and West Java Province," he continued.
"All of the nominations as governors, regents, or mayors are all Indonesian citizens who have the right to be nominated anywhere," he added.
After voting, Suswono plans to participate in monitoring the results of the quick count with the RIDO Winning Team at the Sultan Hotel. The event is scheduled to take place behind closed doors.
