Israeli Military Still In South Lebanon, Refugees Asked Not To Return Home
JAKARTA - Israel warned residents displaced by fighting not to return to their homes in southern Lebanon, although a ceasefire between Israeli and Hezbollah forces took effect this morning.
Although the 60-day ceasefire agreed by Israel and Lebanon stipulates Israel's Defense Forces (IDF) must withdraw completely from southern Lebanon, the return of troops to Israel will not take place in the near future.
The IDF remains deployed in its position in southern Lebanon, wrote an Israeli military spokesman in Arabic, Avichay Adraee, on X reported by CNN, Wednesday, November 27.
