Voting At Polling Station 012 Banjarsari, Jokowi Urges Those Who Win The 2024 Pilkada Don't Be Jemawa

The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo appealed to whoever wins in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) not to be complacent.

"Yes, after calculating whoever wins, don't be happy," he said after voting at the 012 Voting Station (TPS), Sumber Village, Banjarsari District, Solo, Central Java, Wednesday.

Jokowi also asked whoever lost so that he could accept defeat gracefully. "Even the losers can also accept it because sovereignty is in the hands of the people," he said.

Regarding the implementation of the simultaneous regional elections this time, said Jokowi, the entire community today uses its voting rights.

"All Indonesian people exercise their right to vote to elect a candidate pair for governor and deputy governor, vote for the regent and deputy regent candidate, vote for the mayor and deputy mayor candidate," he said.

According to him, so far the process has been going well.

"In general, I see everything in a calm and good state," he said.

On that occasion, Jokowi came with his wife, Iriana Joko Widodo. Jokowi's first grandson, Jan Ethes Srinarendra, also accompanied his grandparents.
