Bayern Munich Wins Thin From PSG Thanks To Kim Min-Jae's Goal

Bayern Munich picked up a narrow 1-0 win at home to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in matchday 5 of the Champions League at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, November 27 in the morning WIB.

Quoting Antara, South Korean centre-back Kim Min-jae became Bayern's hero of victory thanks to his single goal in the first half.

PSG itself had to play with 10 people in the second half after Ousmane Dembele got a second yellow card.

With this result Bayern rose to 11th place in the standings with a collection of nine points from five matches, while keeping the chances of qualifying for the next phase.

Meanwhile PSG slumped to rank 26 after only collecting four points, as reported by the official UEFA website.

Bayern dominated possession since kick-off and continued to press PSG's defense. However, no goals have been scored until the 38th minute.

Bayern finally managed to break the deadlock through Kim Min-Jae's goal. Starting from the set piece scheme which led to chaos in the penalty box, Kim Min-jae successfully headed the ball into a goal. The 1-0 score lasted until halftime.

Entering the second half, PSG, who was chasing behind, had to play with 10 people from the 57th minute after Dembele was given a second yellow card for violating Alphonso Davies.

PSG missed a golden opportunity. Lee Kang-in's cross into the penalty box failed to be greeted by Bradley Barcola who stood right in front of goal. Despite the superior number of players, Bayern were unable to add to their lead in the remaining time. Score 1-0 to last until the game is over.
