Google Calendar On Android Can Now Manage All Tasks Easily
JAKARTA - Google has finally released a major update for the Google Calendar app on Android devices. With this update, users can now manage all task and task lists directly through the full screen display in the Calendar app, making it more practical without the need to switch to another app.
This update presents a new Tasks icon located at the top right of the screen, just between the user profile picture and the "Today" display button. By tapping this icon, users will be directed directly to an integrated Google Tasks interface. There, they can review, set, and tag the task as done.
Not only that, Google Calendar now displays all task lists, including tasks that don't have specific dates. Previously, only tasks with specific dates were displayed in this application. This change makes Google Calendar a much more flexible task management tool.
This update first appeared in Google Calendar's web version last year, and is now finally rolling out to Android users. Previously, the presence of this feature in the mobile app was detected in the dismantling of the APK by the Authority Insights last month.
