32,570 TPS In Pikada Jakarta, 6 Very Vulnerable, 47 Special

JAKARTA - A total of 32,570 polling stations (TPS) are provided in the 2024 Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada) process. Polda Metro Jaya said 6 of them were categorized as very vulnerable.

It is known, the police divided the thousands of polling stations into 4 categories, ranging from less vulnerable, vulnerable, very vulnerable, and special.

"There are six very vulnerable TPS," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Monday, November 25.

Of the six polling stations with very vulnerable categories, five of them are in East Jakarta and one is in the Thousand Islands region.

The six polling stations are categorized as very vulnerable because of two factors, namely sociodemography and geography.

literally, sociodemography means population change related to these components of change, such as birth, death, and migration. The result is the state and composition of the population according to age and gender.

While the geographical term is related to the location of an area on earth and is related to geography.

"Is the category very vulnerable? There are two, the first is related to sociodemography, the second is related to geographical factors," he said.

In addition, Ade also conveyed that of the thousands of polling stations, dozens of them were included in the special category.

The special category is because the TPS is in a detention center (rutan) spread across the police station, ranging from the police, police, and regional police.

"We have secured 47 special polling stations," said Ade.

Meanwhile, the voting will be held on November 27, 2024. Then, it will be followed by counting votes and recapitulation until December 16, 2024.
