Serial Accidents In Sukabumi, One Died And Six Injured
SUKABUMI A series of accidents involving four cars and one motorbike occurred on Jalan Sukaraja-Cireunghas, precisely in the Pasar Sukaraja Terminal area, Pasirhalang Village, Sukaraja District, Sukabumi, West Java, on Sunday night. This incident left one person dead and six others injured.
The Head of Law Enforcement Unit of the Sukabumi City Police, Ipda Andhika Pratista, explained that the accident began when a red Honda Jazz with police number F 1408 TK drove from Sukaraja to Cireunghas.
The car allegedly drove at high speed, lost control, and crashed into three other cars, namely Toyota Vios (F 1334 OX), Suzuki Karimun (F 1780 OU), Toyota Avanza (F 1658 OF), as well as a Honda Scoopy (F 3064 ZO) motorcycle, "said Ipda Andhika confirmed, Monday, November 25.
As a result of this collision, seven people became victims, including car drivers and motorbike riders. The victims were immediately rushed to Syamsudin SH Hospital, Sukabumi City, for medical treatment.
One victim who died was a passenger on a Honda Scoopy motorcycle, a housewife. Meanwhile, her husband suffered a broken bone, and his son suffered head injuries, "added Andhika.
Another victim, who was in a different vehicle, was reported to have suffered minor to serious injuries.
The police are currently conducting an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. All vehicles involved have been evacuated to the Sukabumi City Police Traffic Unit office for further investigation.
"We continue to monitor the condition of the victims at the hospital and will immediately convey the results of the investigation of this accident," concluded Ipda Andhika.
