FBR, Forkabi, Until Anies Volunteers Will Protect TPS, Watch Pramono-Rano's Voice From Cheating

JAKARTA - The head of the winning team for Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, Lies Hartono or who is familiarly called Cak Lontong said that his party would deploy tens of thousands of volunteers who would oversee the voting process at the polling station (TPS).

Around 15 thousand volunteers were involved, ranging from members of the Betawi Rempug Forum (FBR), Betawi Children's Communication Forum (Forkabi), the Putra Putri Purnawirawan TNI/Polri (FKPPI) Communication Forum, to Anies volunteers who are usually called Abah Children.

"They will be deployed to all polling stations whose aim is only to ensure that these regional elections run honestly, fairly, fairly play, and without cheating," said Cak Lontong at a press conference at the Pramono-Rano winning house, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Sunday, November 24.

Not only that, Pramono-Rano timses will also deploy multiple witnesses assigned to monitor TPS. They are witnesses from the supporting parties, namely PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) and Hanura.

Secretary of the Pramono-Rano winning team, Aria Bima, emphasized that the deployment of multi-layered witnesses and tens of thousands of volunteers was carried out to prevent potential fraud that occurred during the voting to vote count.

"Ini memang ada kecenderungan-kecenderungan terutama terkait dengan sebelum pencolosan. Terkait dengan jumlah lapisan suara, kita akan tetut betuliki dan kartu suara yang ikut atau kartu yang sudah terlos dan yang tidak terlos atau tidak dimanfaatkan," jelas Aria.

On the one hand, Aria hopes that the KPU, Bawaslu, TNI-Polri officers, ASN, and regional apparatus can guarantee that the implementation of regional elections can run according to the rules without any violations.

Aria also emphasized that there was a decision on the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) number 136/PUU-XXII/2024 which changed the phrase in Article 188 of Law Number 1 of 2018.

The ruling reads "every state official, regional official, ASN official, TNI-Polri member, and village head or other designation/lurah who deliberately violates the provisions as referred to in Article 71, shall be sentenced to a minimum imprisonment of 1 month or a maximum of 6 months and/or a fine of at least Rp600 thousand or a maximum of Rp6 million".

"There is a decision by the Constitutional Court that ASN and village or sub-district officials or other names are involved, then those concerned will receive sanctions, namely dismissal," said Aria.

"Here we are not playing games, we are really prepared, we have heard that there are movements that tend to make this election atmosphere dishonest and unfair. But, until today we still have positive thinking," he added.
