Indonesia Holds Gymnastics Pelatnas In Tokyo And Jakarta
JAKARTA The Executive Board of the Indonesian Gymnastics Association (PB Persani) held a national training camp (pelatnas) in two different places, Tokyo and Jakarta, for six male athletes and five female athletes.
Chairman of PB Persani, Ita Yuliati, said that this long-term national training has several important targets in the future, one of which is the Olympics.
"Our target is not only for the 2025 SEA Games or the Jakarta World Championships, but also the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics," said Ita in a statement received.
The male athletes who were called to join the national training were Abiyu Raffi, M. Aprizal, Agung Suci Tanto Akbar, Naufal Takdir Albari, Satria Tri Wira Yudha, and Fajar Abdul Rachman Al Ali.
Then from the women's sector, Rifda Irfanaluthfi is included in it. He will undergo national training with Salsabilla Hadi Pamungkas, Alarice Mallica Vilobianne F.P., Ameera Rahmajanni Hariadi, and Muthia Nur Cahya.
Even though it is included in the list, Rifda Irfanaluthfi still has not been able to attend the training camp. You see, he has to undergo a recovery in the ACL (anterior cruise lation) operations and will only follow afterwards.

Four of the athletes who will undergo training camps in Tokyo from November 26, 2024 to December 25, 2024 are Abiyu, Naufal, Salsabilla, and Alarice. Then the rest practice in Jakarta.
"We are grateful to the Ministry of Youth and Sports for supporting our commitment to prepare long-term national training," said Ita.
The names practicing in Japan will be accompanied by coaches M. Try Saputra (men's artist) and Audi Ashari Arif (women's artist). Activities will be held in NTC Ajinomoto and under the supervision of Japanese coaches Yasunori Tachibana and Reiko Uchiyama.
The other athletes who train at the DKI Jakarta Gymnastics Sports Hall will be accompanied by male coach Ferrous One Willyodac and women coach Eva Novalina Butarbutar.
These names will still be selected again for further training due to the promotion and relegation system. Later, five male athletes and four female athletes will be selected to defend Indonesia at the 2025 World Championships in Jakarta.
