Russian Drone Attack Kills 2 People In Sumy Ukraine

JAKARTA - A Russian drone strike in the northeastern city of Sumy killed two people and injured 12 others on Friday morning.

Reported by Reuters on Friday, November 22, dozens of apartments, five private residences, shops and three cars were damaged after three drones attacked the city at around 5 a.m., according to police.

Russia is attacking the region and critical infrastructure in deadly attacks over the past few weeks.

Tuesday's drone strike in the small town of Hlukhiv in the region killed 12 people, including a child.

On Sunday evening, a missile strike in Sumy killed 11 people and injured 89 others, in addition to causing the region's administrative centers without electricity.
