Charta Politica Survey: Koster-Giri Wins In Bali Gubernatorial Election
DENPASAR - The policy research institute and the public opinion of Charta Politica Indonesia revealed that the results of the Bali Pilkada survey showed the superiority of pair number 2 Wayan Koster-Giri Prasta (Koster-Giri).
Indonesian Charta Politica researcher Ardha Ranadireksa said the electability of Koster-Giri reached 69.8 percent.
"If viewed statistically, it can be concluded that I Wayan Koster-I Nyoman Giri Prasta is dominantly superior to other pairs of candidates," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 22.
This figure is superior to the pair number 1 I Made Muliawan Arya-Putu Agus Suradnyana (Mulu-PAS) which amounted to 23.8 percent, and did not know or did not answer 6.5 percent.
The results of this survey themselves were obtained from the face-to-face interview process using a questionnaire from October 30 to November 6, 2024.
Ardha said that 1,200 respondents were involved in this study, they were spread across districts/cities throughout Bali including 18.3 percent of Buleleng as the largest sample and five percent of Klungkung as the smallest sample.
Charta Politica uses a multistage random sampling method in testing answers with a margin of error of 2.83 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
As many as 72.8 percent of respondents admitted that they were determined with their choice, 20.8 percent could still change, and 6.3 percent did not know or did not answer.
In addition to calculating the electability of the packages of Mulia-PAS and Koster-Giri candidates, their findings also include the electability of individual candidates.

For the gubernatorial candidate in the Bali Pilkada, Wayan Koster excels with 68.1 percent, followed by I Made Muliawan Arya 22.9 percent, and whether or not to answer 9 percent.
In the electability of the individual deputy governor candidate I Nyoman Giri Prasta excels with an electability of 72.9 percent, above Putu Agus Suradnyana with 19.8 percent, and whether or not to answer 7.3 percent.
When tracing the level of recognition of the candidates, Charta Politica found the highest recognition rate was Wayan Koster with 97 percent and Nyoman Giri Prasta 96 percent.
The rate of respondents' introduction to I Made Muliawan Arya was 80 percent, then Putu Agus Suradnyana was 70 percent.
Of the 1,200 respondents, 93.8 percent admitted that they were aware of the Bali Pilkada, Charta Politica assessed that this figure was classified as high and showed public knowledge evenly.
