Police Shoot Police Case, West Sumatra Police Chief Will Fire South Solok Police Chief

JAKARTA - West Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Suharyono said he would immediately fire AKP Dadang Iskandar as a member of the National Police. The sanction was the aftermath of the shooting case against the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Solok Police, AKP Ulil Ryanti Anshari.

The process of dismissing AKP Dadang Iskandar will go through the stages of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP).

"Certainly his actions are firm, this week we are trying to have a PTDH (Disrespectful Dismissal) process," Suharyono told reporters, Friday, November 22.

The sanction of dismissal is also proof of the Police's commitment to take firm action against all its members who are indiscriminately guilty.

Moreover, AKP Dadang Iskandar is considered to have obstructed the legal action carried out by AKP Ulil Ryanti Anshari regarding illegal mining.

"Action that must be firm with anyone who obstructs this very noble law enforcement," said Suharyono.

Meanwhile, the police shooting police case took place at the South Solok Police Station on Friday, November 22 in the morning.

AKP Ulil Ryanti Anshari, who is the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Solok Seletan Police, was shot by AKP Dadang Iskandar who served as Head of Operations Division.

Based on information, there were 9 shots fired by AKP Dadang Iskandar. Two of them hit the temple and cheek of AKP Ulil Ryanti Anshari.

With the severe gunshot wound, AKP Ulil Ryanti Anshari died.
