Minister of Culture (Menbud) Fadli Zon responded to the complaint. The former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives also hopes that the rental price in the TIM will be lowered soon. He will also communicate with the TIM.
"Pangggung is getting more expensive. We need to communicate with a number of institutions that have access such as Taman Ismail Marzuki. Of course we are talking so that it should not be too expensive," said Fadli Zon.
Apart from the TIM, Fadli Zon said he would hold a meeting with the provincial government and Jakpro. According to him, artists do not need to be given an expensive rental price.
"Finally, cultural artists cannot access the same as those who are commercial. We will invite stakeholders, talk with the provincial government, JakPro, other managers so that there is affirmation, that there is a cultural stage that is not fully commercial," he explained.
Not only Fadli Zon, Deputy Minister of Culture Giring Ganesha responded to complaints from Ratna when delivering his remarks. He admitted that he did not understand the problems in the TIM. However, he had met with TIM administrators, including JakPro.
"I speak openly that the TIM is indeed divided into management. Some are taken care of by the Jakarta Dikbud (DKI Provincial Government), some are taken care of by JakPro, this is what the approach must be taken, I have been given directions," said Giring.
After discussing Minister Fadli Zon, Giring admitted that he would wait for the Pilkada after the election of the Governor of Jakarta.
"We will wait until the Pilkada is finished, who will win later. The Minister will immediately contact the Governor and Deputy Governor." he continued.
