Had Experienced Delays, VinFast VF9 Begins To Be Sent To Customers In The US
JAKARTA - Automotive manufacturer from Vietnam, VinFast officially started shipping on the VF9 model in the United States (US) market after experiencing several delays.
Launching from InsideEVs, Thursday, November 21, the Plus variant will be the first unit to be sent to US customers first. Meanwhile, the Eco type is only available at the end of this year.
The shipment began after VF9 received a massive discount of 12,000 US dollars (Rp190.9 million) with Eco discounted from US$83,000 (Rp1.32 billion) to US$69,800 (Rp1,110 billion).
In addition, the Plus type also received a discount from 91,000 US dollars (Rp1,448 billion) and is now discounted to 73,800 US dollars (Rp1,174 billion).
Not only that, VinFast also offered a promotion rental price for VF9 of US$529 (Rp8.417 million) per month for the first 100 buyers sent to the US. According to the manufacturer, this offering includes a discount of US$500 (Rp55.6 million) and a down payment of US$2,000 (Rp31.8 million).

Speaking of specifications, these two variants are both equipped with a 123 kWh battery. For Eco, this car is claimed to be able to cover a distance of up to 330 miles or 531 km. Meanwhile, higher Plus types are offered with a range of 291 miles or 468 km in one full charge.
This car has advanced capabilities and can be supported by DC charging so it can fill in from 10 to 80 percent within 35 minutes.
Talking about its performance, VinFast VF9 is armed with electric drive with a maximum power of 402 dk so that it can accelerate from 0 to 97 km/hour within 6.63 seconds.
These two variants are equipped with a number of other standard equipment, such as a two-zone temperature controller, a 15.6-inch infotainment display, a 13-speaker audio system, and a series of full driver assistance systems (ADAS).
The SUV also has several elements of luxury in it such as imitation leather seat, powered front seat, and power-operated tailgate. Plus variants get heating, ventilation, and massage functions on the front seat.
This car is included in the family-oriented three-line large SUV market and competes with several models, such as Kia EV9.
