Residents In Musi Banyuasin Died When They Wanted To Pay For Electricity
PALEMBANG - Musi Banyuasin Police, South Sumatra (Sumsel) investigated the motive of an unknown person (OTK) who shot a resident to death while trying to make electricity payments on Jalan Corporal Hanfiah, Serasan Jaya Village, Musi Banyuasin Regency.
Muba Police Chief AKBP Listiyono said the victim with the initials AM (36 years old) was a resident of Sekayu, Musi Banyuasin. The victim died at the scene after being shot in the back of the head at around 09.00 WIB.
"Yes, the victim died because he was shot by OTK while standing at the electricity payment counter when he was about to pay the electricity bill," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 21.
The alleged perpetrator did follow the victim on foot wearing a helmet. The perpetrator then shot the victim, then fled.

"The victim has been evacuated at the hospital for autopsy and police personnel from the Criminal Investigation Unit immediately carried out an investigation. Hopefully the perpetrator will be caught quickly," he said.
Several residents witnessed closely that the victim who was lying covered in blood at the scene before being evacuated by officers.
