Janji Buka Rincian APBD Jakarta Sampai Detail, Pramono: Meski Riuh, Tapi Benefaat

JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor of Jakarta number 3 Pramono Anung promised to publish the preparation and use of the DKI Jakarta regional budget (APBD) to detail if he won the Jakarta gubernatorial election with his deputy, Rano Karno.

"If I'm okay, I'm willing (budget) to open up to three units," said Pramono in South Kedoya, Thursday, November 21.

The former Cabinet Secretary is aware that disclosing the use of the budget in detail has the potential to cause polemics and suspicion from the public if he sees a regional shopping unit that is considered odd.

However, Pramono emphasized that this still needs to be done in order to realize a transparent budgeting system.

"The important thing is, although it is boisterous in the front, it is useful for the long term," he said.

For information, since Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) served as Governor of DKI Jakarta, the budgeting system has been inputted into the e-budgeting system on the apbd.jakarta.go.id website. At that time, Ahok opened the details of the APBD to the public so that the public could participate in monitoring the use of the budget by the DKI Provincial Government.

Until the preparation of the APBD for the 2020 fiscal year, in the leadership of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan, a polemic emerged in the e-budget system. The DPRD found an odd application for APBD expenditure for the 2020 fiscal year, such as a disgrace glue of Rp. 82.8 billion, and a bolpoin of up to Rp. 124 billion.

After the odd findings were spread to the public, Anies argued that there was a budgeting system error in the e-budgeting initiated by the Ahok era.

"It is impossible to buy Rp82 billion of blackmail glue. We will correct it. This is the fault of the system because it relies on humans (in the verification process). Is this system only running this year? No. For years, the system. It relies on humans," said Anies at DKI Jakarta City Hall in October 2019.

At that time, Anies decided to close access to e-budgeting which included a temporary budgeting of details on the grounds of improving the system. However, until now, e-budgeting until the third unit has not been opened to the public.
