Megawati Received Reports That The Apparatus Was Not Neutral During The Pilkada, Pramono: It's Just Comfortable In Jakarta
JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor of Jakarta number 3 Pramono Anung responded to the statement by the General Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri who received reports of the neutrality of state officials in the implementation of the 2024 Pilkada in several regions.
Pramono felt a different thing. The former Secretary General of the PDIP feels that he has not received reports or findings in the field regarding the attitude of non-neutral officials to the public to support one of the certain pairs of candidates for governor of Jakarta.
"So far, I've been comfortable, basically in Jakarta, I'm comfortable, thank you all the officers," said Pramono in South Kedoya, West Jakarta, Thursday, November 21.
The former Cabinet Secretary did not want to think too much about the potential for neutrality of state apparatus during the 2024 Pilkada stage. He only focused on intensifying campaign activities before ending on November 23.
"Anyway, my politics doesn't want to be prejudiced, cheerful, happy. If there must be (fraud), I will know. Until today, I will fight anyway, because it's only two days away," Pramono explained.
Previously, Megawati Soekarnoputri admitted that she had received many reports regarding the neutrality of state officials in the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada. The apparatus even forced it to roll out money politics to the public to choose a certain pair of candidates for regional heads.
In fact, all parties know this violates statutory regulations. This was revealed by Megawati through a video that was played at the PDIP DPP Office, Menteng, Central Jakarta.
"I heard so many reports against state institutions that are not neutral. They force certain pairs of candidates with various intimidation and at the same time the lure of free basic necessities, even money. They are all part of the money politics," said Megawati, Wednesday, November 20.
